OK, For now disregard the previous message. I think we have found a more
permanent fix -

https://hamvoip.org/downloads/playnews-0.10

This is just the script. Copy it over your current 0.9 script and make it
executable - chmod 750 playnews-0.10

It should work as normal. No user download required for ARN. Lets see how
long it works.

Once this is stable I will make another complete tar package for first time
downloaders.
