BTW, I want to mention that in the hamvoip V1.5 release, you can have
AllStar adjust the telemetry levels up or down, without running the
individual sound files through sox. In /etc/asterisk/rpt.conf, for your
active node, add settings like:
; Telemetry audio Level settings in dB
telemnomdb=0 ; normal level
telemduckdb=-9 ; turn down 9 dB when mixed with an active channel
