Kevin,

 You need to do this -

parrot=0

in your node stanza - the first stanza in your /etc/asterisk/rpt.conf file
If you want to do it in multiple nodes on one server add this to all the
node stanzas you want to use parrot on.

Add in the functions stanza -

A4=cop,55

The A4 assignment is optional. It could be unused codes in the 8xx, or 9xx
ranges also.

This give a one time parrot. You PTT, execute the code, say what you want
to say, release PTT  and hear yourself back.

There is also an echo mode in simpleusb-tune-menu available from the ADMIN
menu but this could not be exercised by using DTMF.
