[arm-allstar] node no longer in the database

a bit more info. This node has been operational for many months, it's not a new node
I am traveling and have limited internet access but I did log into my account and checked the node status and got "node is not in the database"
nothing was changed in the setup either in the website or via the Rasp Pi.
The Rasp Pi was power cycled when this first happened and it did not solve the issue
I will have someone at the node tomorrow to power it down for an extended time frame and double check the local IP address and port forwarding

Aloha,

I think what you really meant to say is that your Node 45840 is not
showing up on the allstarlink.org webpage.

Look in https://www.allstarlink.org/nodelist.php and its still in the
database.

Log into your allstar account and make sure the box that says convert to
system operator is checked. if not, check it and everything should reappear.

73 & Aloha

Mike,

There is an all nodes database and an active or online database. If you
registered a node you should be in the all nodes database and I see you
are. You only appear in the online database if you are online and
registered. To do this you obviously must have an Internet connection.

Go into the Asterisk client - Item 11 on the menu - and issue the command
'iax2 show registry' if it does not show registered you will not appear in
the online status list and your node information will not propagate to
others.

There are several reasons why your node would not register the most obvious
that the node password is wrong in /etc/asterisk/iax.conf. Also in the past
there have been issues with the Allstar registration server. If it is not
registering take your node offline for a brief period and then back online
and see if that clears it. If you continue to have problems give us more
information about the circumstances and we will try to troubleshoot further.

I have been unable to remove time announcing if I am PTTing on the hour mark only. What coding do I need to remove? I am running duplex = 0. nounkeyyct = 1.

At Linux prompt -

crontab -e

Put a # before the line to call time on the hour

Save
cntrl X  - "y" - return
