[arm-allstar] Repeater Tail

Doug,

Thanks for the reply. I have an Allstar node linked via RF to a 20 site
repeater system (Allstar node - URI -V71-repeater). I find that the
repeater tails go over Allstar/Internet. We will be moving he Allstar
node it to the main repeater hub in October. When individuals connect
via the allstar node, the repeater tail does go back over the internet,
but when someone connects a node with repeaters connected, the repeater
tails can loop and keep the complete system in TX.

Yes, I have turned all telemetry, and and have duplex=0. That's a vary
good idea to have the output PL to follow input PL.

Thanks, David

Dave,

I am not sure what your setup is there but if you have your simplex node
connected to a repeater you need to turn off at least the courtesy tone and
probably all telemetry - nounkeyyct=1 or duplex=0 in rpt.conf.

If you intentions are to run your simplex node as an Allstar GW to the
repeater the repater could be set to have output PL follow input PL. This
works fine without any additional settings.
