[arm-allstar] RPi2-3 Version 1.5rc3-3 Bug?

Hi Doug,
Mystery solved! I'll leave my iax.conf in the secured setting of 640. It's been awhile since my last setup of the Allstar node and I missed the port information on the allstarlink.org. All good now.
Thanks for the quick reply and for the great work on the ARM Allstar software!

 Nelson,

You are correct about the iax.conf permissions. When Supermon was first
issued we overlooked some permission problems that could have created
security issues. The iax.conf file contains PW information that should not
be made public. Making the iax.conf file world readable is probably not a
good idea. To correct this we added a line in rc.supermon that puts it back
to 640 at boot. You can comment that line but be aware that the web is NOT
secure and if you are using supermon outside of your LAN it could be an
issue. In a future update now that things are settled we will probably
delete that line.

On your port issue - you do not have that node properly setup at
allstarlink.org.

[root at wa3dsp-27225-hub ~]# grep 42082 /tmp/rpt_extnodes
42082=radio at 50.141.32.216:4569/42082,50.141.32.216

It is registered as the default 4569. Go to allstarlink.org and in the
server that has that node in the netwrok section set the DHCP port as 4570
- if thats what you want.

You need to set the port at BOTH ends - allstarlink.org and in iax.conf
