[arm-allstar] Interfacing with Icom UR8050

I'm using a modified USB fob with an Icom UR8050 repeater. Everything
seems to be working as it should from the node side but I have a small
issue what I connect the usb fob to the repeater.

It seems to muffle/distort the repeater tx audio. For example, If I
connect via the node and TX then the repeater goes into TX mode and
transmits the audio received from the node just fine. However, the
repeater courtesy tone is distorted when the audio transmission ends.
Another example is when there is no connections to the node and the
repeater sends it's ID. The repeater goes into TX and sends the Morse ID
but it sounds distorted and very quite. If I unplug the USB fob then the
repeater works just fine.

Just to clarify, I'm using the built in repeater logic to control the RF
side of things and I don't want the node to send any tones or ID. I just
want it to send repeater audio out to the AllStar network and send
Allstar audio to the repeater.

My connection like like this...

Fob TX Audio - Repeater LI (Modulation signal input with 300-3000Hz
6dB/oct emphasis)
Fob Ground - Repeater GND
Fob RX Audio - Repeater LO (Detected signal output with 300-3000Hz
6dB/oct de-emphasis)
Fob PTT - Repeater EXT PTT (External PPT input. Connect to ground to TX)
Fob COS - Repeater BUSY (Becomes high impedance while receiving)

I have duplex=2 in my rpt.conf and duplex=1 in my simpleusb.conf is that
correct?
