[arm-allstar] Simpleusb-tune-menu question

Hi guys, I was setting up a node for a local club using the latest hamvoip raspberry pi2 image.  (1.01) and a Pi2 model B. 
When I was adjusting the audio in simpleusb- tune-menu and enabled Echo mode, (E) the audio that was played back was very fast. Like 3 times normal speed. 
Is this normal?  
My older versions didn't do that. 
If I enabled parrot mode from a cop command it played back  fine. 

Just curious if I messed something up.
