  Yes, you will have to download the new image for 1.3 so maybe best to wait. But it is not a big deal to switch. It takes all of 5 minutes to configure a node with the scripts. If you have any special files you want to keep just save them off to a USB FOB or copy them to another computer via winscp. Then back to the new image once you get it installed.

Starting with the 1.3 code will be in place upgradeable for most things from a download repository.

I need to get started on a new node, and wondered how much effort will be required to upgrade a functioning node to the new 1.3 code.
Will there be an upgrade process, or should I just wait for the new version?  Yeah, I'm looking for an excuse to procrastinate ;)
