[arm-allstar] Unexpected restart

I learn stuff with every questions. Comments below:
" I assume what you mean by Alison startup is the message that gives the IP
address?
We start Asterisk with safe_asterisk which does force a restart of Asterisk
should there be a rare hang problem."
No - I have a startup macro that has Alison give the time and then does an
ID. It was the startup macro I heard.
" To see how long Asterisk itself has been running enter the client -
asterisk -rvvv
core show uptime
The uptime also shows on the lsnodes display."
Cool! Doing that, the uptime corresponded with the time from the event.
Also matches up with the uptime shown on the Allstar status page.
" Also if you are using any of the boards remotely if would be a good idea
to turn on the watchdog in /usr/local/etc/allstar.env This would force a
restart if the processor hung for some reason. I would also probably turn on
the system and/or asterisk restart DTMF commands which can be changed to
whatever sequence you want."
Great idea - done! We are also using an Internet based power switch that
gives us the ability to cycle power to the PI all else fails...
Something sure hiccupped... I monitor these repeaters a lot and also track
the reported uptime on the Allstar page and this hasn't happened before and
maybe won't again... Darned cosmic ray or something!
Thanks for the always thoughtful support!
