[arm-allstar] Echolink on Pseudo making a connection

Bob,

A couple of things you can do or try.

First if you ssh to the server for your main node and 1999 you can use the client to connect directly.

Using your example -

asterisk -rvvv

CLI>rpt fun 1999 *33009999

And you can try this on the radio on your main node -

*41999*33009999#

This say send the Echolink connect code to node 1999 which should work as long as both Allstar nodes are on the same server.

However I have not tried this and because 1999 is not a registered node it may or may not work. I suspect it will. Let me know.

If it does work you could simplify that by creating a script to do it using the phone patch method howto I described on the web page passing the Echolink node with a much shorter prefix. I could give you examples if you like.

I think you know this but there is no requirement that Echolink be on a separate Allstar node as you have it setup. The advantage is being able to disconnect it and in effect turn off Echolink if you desire.

Another quick question on another subject. You list courtesy tone examples on your web page. I want to do a howto on courtesy tones. Do you have any objectiont of my using your examples with credit in the howto? Have you added anymore?

Subject: [arm-allstar] Echolink on Pseudo making a connection

I have Echolink enabled on node 28183 and it is working fine.
I have just changed it to my Pseudo node 1999 on the same computer.
That part seems to be ok. (edited the files)
My question is when I connect 28183 or any other nodes I have configured
on my network to pseudo node 1999,
How do I, Can I make a connection to another Echolink station ?
Is there another DTMF prefix I should be using ?
I can connect via radio 28183 to 1999 but how do I then
do I further connect 1999 to say Echolink *3009999 ?
I've tried *33009999 for example and get a "Remote already in this mode" warning.
