Hi guys,

I am new to AllStar and have read a lot about it ... a friend of mine
recommended I have a look at AllStar since I already have an EchoLink node ...

I am running Debian with SvxLink as my EchoLink server ...

One of my goals is to cross-band repeat my EchoLink (2M) node to HF (40M) to
enable me to RX/TX longer distances and to help local Hams who does not have the
finacial means to have international QSO's with simple/older/cheap radios ...
all they have to do is to make sure they can reach the antennas at my QTH ... I
have a Kenwood TM-D710 which I can connect to my Kenwood TS-480HX for crossband
repeating ... however my friend suggested I join this list and enquire first if
it would be possible to do the same with AllStar and EchoLink on one server ...
