[arm-allstar] zoiper issue

Jeff,

A comment if I might ... Since you mentioned running an Android device
the iax/rpt app works much smoother and has better audio control than
Zoiper.
I personally would recommend you switch. If you happen to compare both
you will see why.

The registration error, if it occurs, in my case it has to do with the
IP address or password your phone is trying to register with.
LAN versus Verizon in my case. I at times forget I have 2 diifferent IP
account settings ...one for local WIFI and the other for Verizon.
When home my auto use of the wifi will throw that error when I have
select the account setting intended for Verizon (results in an IP and
password mismatch)

Here is what my setup is like. It works for me.

In ---> iax.conf
-----------------------------------------------------------
[Your user account name]       ;joe?
username=your user account  ;joe?
Type=friend
context=myphone                  ; Make a [myphone] context in
(extensions.conf) to answer the incoming call -- see below.
host=dynamic ; In the PHONE account settings this
will need to be the public IP of your Router
                                               ; Or if connecting from
your PHONE to your LAN wifi make a separate account with the host IP
settings being the Allstar PC's IP
auth=md5
secret=XXXXX ; change this to your account password
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
allow=g726aal2
allow=gsm
codecpriority=host
transfer=no
callerid="XXXXX"                      ;Change this!
---------------------------------------------------------------

In ---> extensions.conf ; Make sure you have a "context" to
match the context listed in your iax.conf
[myphone]
;exten=1998,1,rpt(1998|P)
;exten=1999,1,rpt(1999|P)
exten=XXXXX,1,rpt(XXXXX|P) ; XXXXX= change to your node number

In your router you should port forwarded UDP 4569 or whatever port
number you have assigned in iax.conf to the Allstar computers IP.

Use this same information along with the port 4569 or whatever, if you
have changed it from the default, to configure your phone account.
