Doug your last three responses were absolutely awesome! I think you should
compile them into a single article and post it to your website for
reference material. All the reasons you listed add up perfectly and the
decision makes so much more sense.

I want to say I was merely playing devil's advocate to save face, but in
reality I am just another Pi fanboy who wants to milk my SBC for every
feature I can get out of her. I stand corrected indeed. Again thank you for
all the efforts and research and testing you and the team put into making
our deployments easy.

On a positive note regarding the Atmel choice, it opens a few doors for
guys to produce commercial products indeed, and that can simplify life for
potential builders even more. Thank you for the reply, explanation and the
fact that you didn't take offense to my uneducated opinion. :)
