Hi David,
I just read the email thread from December 2015 [1] where the chip identifier
was first mentioned. In the attached source code of chan_simpleusb.c the
product id is identified as C108AI and further down the code GPIO bits are set
specifically for this chip.
Looking up the only datasheet I could find there are no GPIOs on that chip. Or
am I not reading the datasheet correctly? Also the pinout is slightly
different than that of the cm108. You can find the HS-100 datasheet here:

I'm just confused whats happening in the code compared to what I see in the
datasheet. If it is no trouble to you (or anyone else) I would really
appreciate if you could help me out here.
Other than that I'll wait for the next public beta (or my cm108 chipment from
china, whatever comes first).
