Hi David,

The DeskTrac came in numerous configurations, including everything from a 
simplex-only base station to a low duty cycle full duplex repeater 
version.  Also, the accessory interfaces could be programmed for various 
different functions.  Take a look at the excellent repeater-builder page

As for attaching a URI to the DeskTrac, after the radio programming is 
complete, I would recommend testing the various control signals at the 
accessory connector. Then, put together a cable. Some preliminary info may

But, again, test and confirm the signals at the DeskTrac before making a 
cable.
