I realized my answer might have been a little confusing so here is a little more detail....
On...
RPI-1 IP=192.168.1.201 Node 42147
In extensions.conf you need -
[radio-secure]
exten => 42147,1,rpt,42147
and on
RPI-2 IP=192.168.1.202 Server name=w0iycpu
Node 42186
Node 42187
You need
[radio-secure]
exten => 42186,1,rpt,42186
exten => 42187,1,rpt,42187
The [radio] stanza in iax.conf connects through [radio-secure] in extensions.conf to the rpt code. The entries under [radio-secure] are what is called the dial plan. What to do when this number is decoded.

Barry,
The error seems to indicate you don't have an entry in extensions.conf at the server for the node you are trying to connect to. Check you extensions.conf on both servers and make sure you have entries for the nodes on that server.
The would look like this -
[radio-secure]
exten => 1499,1,rpt,1499
exten => 1500,1,rpt,1500
Of course with each of the node numbers that exist on that server.

I have 2 RPIs running on the same LAN.
Both are static IP:RPI-1 IP=192.168.1.201 Node 42147
RPI-2 IP=192.168.1.202 Server name=w0iycpu

That is a lot of detail, but it all appears to be relevant.Any assistance is appreciated.
