ok I got the wx scripts working. thanks everyone!
now for the last step
Echolink
In the /etc/asterisk directory I found a file called echolink.xxx
it has to be edited of course. thanks Doug for your comments in the file.
1  my question is after I edit the file what name should I give it?
2   what other items do I need to do to enable echolink connections?
3   is there a "how to document"  somewhere for echolink running under asterisk v1.2.1 on a beagle bone black?
