Doug,

 

I found why sometimes the transmitter would fire and sometimes not when
adjusting TX level.  Option T of the simpleusb-tune-menu toggles it between
doing the test transmit and not doing it.  I misread the initial comment
behind the command that said (currently Disabled) to mean that command
didn't work, not that disabled was it's current state.  And I see the same
thing on Option E, Toggle Echo Mode.

 

Like I said, always something new to discover.
