of the battery eliminator you have done to run the 888s from 5volt.

Hello Doug,

I use Chirp also - downloaded the full version for CD and even went to
the expense (ouch!) of a true FTDI cable in place of the prolific one
although  I found the prolific 003 to work OK compared to the prolific
002. Got the COS line to pin 8 of the URIx so I guess I need to double
check the programming of the Baofeng, I'm going to order some more for
the mark2 version.
