[arm-allstar] remote base node functioning question

Really too bad, I'm so close to success with what is obviously one of very
few attempts at a frequency-agile BBB node. Looking at the console with any
level of verbosity doesn't seem to reveal any useful information.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'll be able to fix this any time soon.
