[arm-allstar] node does not show up on server

There is a problem with the Allstar database. This has been an ongoing problem on and off for quite awhile. Some (most) nodes show up while others do not. It is a known problem and is reported.

As long as you are registered there will not be a problem operating your node. Check for registration in the client -

asterisk -rvvv

iax2 show registry

The database you look at on allstarlink.org that is having the problem is entirely separate from registration and has nothing to do with proper operation of Allstar. If you want to see who YOU are connected to use lsnodes locally.

The best test of a node is to check registration and then after a 10 minute delay at initial startup try to connect out. Whether you show up or not at the status server has no bearing on being able to operate your node. At least not under the present conditions.

Subject: [arm-allstar] node does not show up on server

My node doesn’t show now. It did previous to re-running the install script. I did check settings in iax.conf and rpt.conf.Any ideas? 73KU6V
