===The Shutdown button is useful for remote sites. What would really be useful is to have a BT (bluetooth) plugged into USB and talk to the RPI via a terminal emulator on my android phone. Shutdown, astres, (etc.) could be done via a tablet or phone.
For a remote site, logging in to Linux ought to be adequate security. Since it isn't an ethernet connection via the internet, SSH security isn't really necessary. USB <-> BTLE modules are ~$5 on ebay. Linux ought to be able to deal with the USB device. The TE sw for Android appears to be readily available.
Has anyone tried this?Comments?
