Roger,
The time is a cron job - at linux prompt -
crontab -l
it will look something like this....
00 0-23 * * * (source /usr/local/etc/allstar.env ; /usr/bin/nice -19 /usr/bin/perl /usr/local/sbin/saytime.pl > /dev/null)
Do crontab -e to edit the file and put a # (comment) before the above line. Save it and you won't have hourly time. You can always go back and remove it to restore.
CW ID is in rpt.conf. Putting a ; (comment) before a line disables it. I think you are doing that below in your example. Whenever you change anything in the files you need to reload the file or restart asterisk. Best to restart - astres.sh

Subject: [arm-allstar] BBB disable time annoucement?
Any suggestions? I’m good with Linux, but an Asterisk/Allstar newbie. Our BBB is connected an SCOM 7330 controller at the repeater site.
We have it working, but can’t figure out how to disable:1. The hourly voice time announcement.2. The CW ID (Identifying with a default “ID” in CW).
I’m listening on Allstarlink.org WebTransciever. the time announcement goes through the repeater, the ID does not.
Relevant BBB config in rpt.conf is (Allstar node 41413):
[41413]
scheduler=schedule41413
;idrecording=|iDE K6MWT/L
;idrecording=/etc/asterisk/local/node-id
;idrecording=|iDE K6MWT/L
;idtime=600000
;politeid=30000
;idtalkover=|iDE K6MWT/L
;unlinkedct=ct2 ; Sent when not connected to another node
;remotect=ct3 ; Sent when remote base connected
;linkunkeyct=ct8 ; sent when a network user unkeys
;nolocallinkct=0
[schedule41413]
; dtmf_function = m h dom mon dow ; ala cron, star is implied
; 1=00 * * * * ;run macro 1 on the hour
