[arm-allstar] Commands thru ssh

Rob,

 Any command can be executed through ssh. The most common ones that you mentioned are shown below.

First you need to start the client at the Linux prompt after login.

asterisk -rvvv

You will then get the prompt:

CLI>

to execute commands as dtmf would -

rpt fun <your-node> <dtmf-command>

So if your node number was 40000 and you wanted to connect to 40001 -

rpt fun 40000 *340001

Disconnect -

rpt fun 40000 *140001

Say ID -

rpt fun 40000 *80

Say time -

rpt fun 40000 *81

Remember you need to specify your own radio node or a node that is valid on that server.

Type exit to leave the client.

You can also send commands directly from the Linux prompt. This is handy for scripts.

asterisk -rx "rpt fun 40000 *81"
