The BBB and RPi2 use systemd and the logs are viewed using journalctl.
journalctl | grep CRON | more
would show all cron log entries. Use the space bar to scroll through. Cntrl C to exit or just scroll to the end.
journalctl -f
would show all of the latest log outputs. Cntrl C to exit.
journalctl -f | grep CRON
would give a running display of just cron log entries. You could open another login window and just display that if you like.
For more information on this do "man journalctl" or Google journalctl or systemd.

Subject: [arm-allstar] Cron
On my acid boxes I can look at my cron log and see what gets passed with a time stamp. On a BBB I can not seem to find that file. I am trying to troubleshoot why my ARRL news doesn't play. I figured I'd look there.
Does anyone know where that is?
