Robert,

 That script will do both. Look inside and read the readme on how to use it. If you want to do ARN then you need to change a line and also the pre-recorded messages as they say ARRL News.

The script needs to be started on the day of execution at least 15 minutes before the run time. This would be done in a cron job - examples in the script.
Localplay or playback are defines in the script. Read the script!

So it looks like I got the sciprt for ARRL news on my BBB. I gave it 20:00 for a time. I see it downloaded the file OK. Although I am confused as to where I specify local play and what day of the week?
