Doug,
Thanks for all your work on BBB.
If you don't need additional control, you can put " /exten =>
1999,1,rpt(1999|S) ;simplex dumb phone control dial up connection/
" in extensions.conf. Then you only need a single * to key and # (or
* again) to unkey. That is a lot easier than *99 each time you wish to
key the xmit. I have OLD fingers!
