Hello Doug,
Problem solved, it's amazing what a night's sleep can do !!
In rpt.conf I had a mis-match with duplex=1 and duplex=0.
I've now changed them all to duplex=0 and audio is now OK as I forgot
that Duplex in rpt.conf tells apt_rpt how to handle the audio passed
through the R/T interface..
Now waiting patiently for my other BBB's to arrive..
