Ron,
Great to hear you got everything going.
It is important to NOT use MS explorer as your browser for lsnodes. Use firefox or waterfox, even chrome just not ms explorer!

Great work Doug,
I finally had time last night to sit down with my BBB Rev. B board and make it play. Got my node data entered quick enough. Have my URI plugged in, local controller still not complete. I can connect to it with iaxrpt. Linked to node 28360 all night. Everything seems to work so far. My node port has not been mapped through my router so connection in cant happen. But this is my test box so I am not concerned about it.
Allstar seems to be playing happy. Lsnodes seems to quit looking at my 27936 node after a few mins and starts looking at node 2000. Will look for errors in my extensions file tonight.
All in all this is much easier than building a full blown acid install. I think us seasoned Allstar users will find this simple and easy. Noobie's will get confused due to lack of Allstar experience. I can see where a node setup script would come in handy in the future.
I am going to order a couple more BBB today if they are still available.
Like I said Doug and the group, good work!

Ron - N6GKJ

I expect to release the BBB Allstar image to the general public later this week. We are still working on a couple of additions that may or may not make the initial release. If not they will be in the next release which I expect will follow rather quickly.
Look for some exciting changes in the code in the near future with a departure from the way things have been done in the past.
I have been updating the web page and one of the things I have added is a document on setting up the example /etc/asterisk config files with your node and other information. It goes step by step using the nano editor and the whole process should take no more than 10 minutes to perform. If you get a chance check it out as well as other changes on the web page. Comments are welcome.
So far the feedback has been favorable although I think quite a few in the
beta group have not gotten their systems up and running yet. We have had several test systems running for weeks with no problems.
I am sending this to both the old BBB list and the new arm-allstar mail list as not all of you have signed on their yet. If you have not please do so as I will be discontinuing sending to the BBB list soon. If you get two copies of this message you are on both lists.
