[arm-allstar] Distorted Audio ??

Ian,
Not exactly sure what you are doing but the current 1.1 version of the BBB can at times have distorted audio on boot. There is a 30 second delay in /etc/rc.local that in most all cases eliminates the problem but there may be some cases where the delay needs to be lengthened to maybe 45 seconds or worst case 60. Also when you have the problem do a restart of asterisk at the linux prompt - astres.sh - that will usually always fix the problem but it does disconnect the node(s) you are connected to so you will have to reconnect. This is a boot issue and once it is working you should not have the problem again in operation.
If this is in fact your problem then it should be greatly improved if not eliminated in the next version.
It may also be some kind of strange codec issue but I think that if you are using the BBB connected to other systems that are only PC's then you are probably only using g726.
Lets us know if the timing or reset solves the problem.
