Are you using wifi on the BBB? Are you using DHCP? What does ifconfig show? Can you ping anywhere? Does it register? in client - 'iax2 show registry'
You are only going to have a channel showing if you connect to somewhere. Can you connect to anywhere?
'iax2 show channels' would show the connection. More information is needed.

Yes.
We took a fully operational node in a portable 900Mhz rptr. with all levels set, i came to SD, it up on the hote wifi and nothing. I do have a firewall issue but core show channels does not show an iax channel
