[Arm-allstar-irlp] Courtesy tone and bootup messages

Don't underestimate possible power supply issues. The ONLY time I've
experienced SD card woes, I traced it to a weak wall-wart. 

That's what initially led me on the search finding the 5v3a DC-DC 
converters, which I've now got installed everywhere.
