The ?troubleshoot_irlp? script is from the original distribution and may not apply to this system. Thanks for the info. I?ve got everything sorted out now. Had a couple of user-created errors. The fact that I could not use WinSCP to move my .pgp file threw me for a while. Finally relented and used the mv command. My main question was about some of the default IRLP troubleshooting tools working from within the Allstar bash prompt. Apparently the troubleshoot_irlp script does not. When I run it, mine shows multiple errors, but my node shows up as being active on the IRLP site and the IRLP test reflector works. You will not see it on your screen unless you define a private node just for your IRLP node. Have you tried to connect to another IRLP node? Note: Supermon Howto file on how to call IRLP nodes. The IRLP node you connect to will then show up in Supermon. Remainder of Howto changes completed, but IRLP node is not showing up after reboot (15 minutes after). Should the troubleshoot-Irlp script work? su - repeater ./scripts/troubleshoot-irlp first has me source the environment file, then runs with multiple errors. Worst case do 'chmod 775 /home/irlp' You could also just delete the entire directory and reload the package in which case it should give no errors. rm -rf /home/irlp 73 Doug WA3DSP http://www.crompton.com/hamradio On Sun, May 13, 2018 at 11:08 AM, John wrote: After locating a copy of my IRLP node backup with pgp key, I attempted to load the IRLP files. Do the best you can. We understand it can be difficult to know, especially purchasing used equipment at a hamfest or whatever. If we cannot find the order with the information provided, we will ask you to verify the board purchase by other means before installing the key for your node. Lately we have had a rash of folks attempting to install keys, without having an IRLP board in their node. Thus we are paying more attention to it now, than in earlier times. > > > Dave K9DC, IRLP Installation Team > >> On May 20, 2018, at 07:25, zl1vfo at yahoo.co.uk [irlp] wrote: >> >> Fresh install it is then. >> >> Re-reading IRLP_Node_Software_Install.pdf, I see it mentions an automated system (Page 3 of the pdf). >> It's also going to want to have the answers to some questions, as copied below -: >> >> "You are going to want to have the following information on hand before the install: >> 1.
